Thomas Land

Last weekend we visited Thomas Land since they had a 2 for 1 voucher.  Cory summed it up perfectly, “Good concept, poor execution.”  Thomas Land did not quite live up to Cory and I’s expectations.   Drayton Manor is about 1.5 hours north of London near Birmingham.  We had a fairly easy journey minus our connecting train being delayed 20 mins.  At the theme park they have a zoo, normal amusement park area, and Thomas Land which is aimed at the little ones.  The crowd was much like you would expect in a slightly run down amusement park.  I also had probably the worst chicken sandwich and fries of the year.  Despite my complaints, Brady enjoyed it and if you ask him, he would be quite happy to return as he LOVES Thomas the Train.

Fun on the rides.

Fat Conductor that wasn’t fat enough to be the fat conductor.

Zoo, can’t tell if the focus should be on the animal or the overgrown vegetation?

Dino Park, pretty sure this could be accompanied by a bill board on I-70 in Western Kansas saying - Stop to see the world’s largest Dino park.  It would fit in nicely with the largest ball of twine & the largest prairie dog.
