It's Official!

Cory, Brady and I are set to move to London next Tuesday.  It almost feels unreal, but then I look in my closet and realize that my clothes are already in route to London and the reality sinks in.  We've always had a passion for travel and exploring new places so are thrilled for the professional and personal experiences we will have over the next year.  The plan is for us to be in London for 1 year.

When committing to the work assignment I don't think Cory or I realized how much work it would be getting ready to leave.  We finally have the major things worked out so we can get on the plane knowing that:

1. We can get in the country and are official UK Visa holders.
2. We have a place to live and it even has two bathrooms.  (I was really nervous thinking about Cory and I getting ready in the same bathroom for a year so this is a good thing)
3. Brady has a Nanny that will take great care of him.
4. Our belongings have been packed meticulously into 2 large containers and should be waiting for us upon our arrival.
5. I shipped enough salsa and taco seasoning in our container to last at least through Christmas.
6. Brady has an adorable new pair of Welly boots that he wants to put on every day (see pic below). 

Everything else we will figure out as we go!  I am going to admit I am new to this blogging thing so I make no promises on the frequency of the updates, but I will try my best and I'm going to get Cory to help so hopefully that improves the chances of this blog living on.  Wish us luck and we would love to have visitors!
